Comments: This is a very nice treadmill. The treadmill was delivered in a 8 foot wooden framed, cardboard covered crate. The weight is 350 lbs. The treadmill is not assembled which helps to move this heavy treadmill to its final resting place. It required 3 guys to carry the motor/belt assembly upstairs in my home. The vertical bars and control panel are separate and require assembly. Onto the setup, the assembly instructions are good and I had no issues installing. The iFit module did give me problems. I tried installing it on my MacBook Pro but it failed 3 times during the "Testing your wireless connection". I then tried my wife's Windows 7 machine and it worked first time connecting to my 802.11 b/g, WPA protected network. ICON needs to work on their Mac support. Also, there is little to no documentation on how to use the iFit and their website is in BETA. Believe me, it is BETA. I called with a question and they constantly told me it was a BETA issue. Glad I bought something that was BETA ;-). On the plus side, my 12 months of included iFit does not begin until the BETA tag is removed. Therefore, I'm okay with the issues (like not being able to reorder workouts, delayed reporting, etc...) for now. Note to iFit team, check out Nike+'s website. Their reporting is great and fast. Overall, the iFit is nice, just not a requirement. The purpose is to run after all but now that NordicTrack is including this plus 12 months on their higher end models, I recommend using it. Once I had the treadmill installed, I noticed the control panel looked terrible (note that my treadmill has a blue screen, not green like the one pictured). I could not read the words on the screen while standing on the belt. If I moved off the treadmill to the side, I could see just fine. I finally determined that the contrast was turned all the way up (setting of 20). Adjusting it to 9 or 10 fixed the issue. I'm unsure why the treadmill was shipped with this setting.
